Womens Shoes from Designer Collections

You can pretty much give men some rubber tires with a bit of leather on top, and if attaches to their feet in some way, they’ll call it a shoe, but the ladies…oooh, that’s another story. Women want comfort without sacrificing sexy and fun and feminine and sometime downright crazy when it comes to heels.

This summer shoe season (in retrospect) has been a great one for ladies shoes and sandals because of women's wedge shoes and sandals that designers came out with last year. What do I mean? Well, the 2008 Paris, Milan and Tokyo runways showed funky hollow hot pink wedges and silver and gold wedge boots with the open wedge (architectural stiletto) and now they’ve at last trickled down to average women's shoes budget, like in the Nine West shoe collections, at prices we can afford (I adore Nine West).

I’m still making up my mind about the Paris Hilton Hamptons black zebra women's wedge shoes collection that may take a little getting used to, but the Moschino Cheap and Chic 2009 fall runway collection in suede wedge shoes with peek-a-boo toes and cut out heels are winners without waiting till 2010 for the designer shoe prices to drop. Then there are all the fabulous gladiator cork wedge sandals…mmmmm…yes, please, for almost any occasion, and they’re comfy, sexy wedge shoes, too.
