When to Buy Womens Shoes

Womens shoes, like dresses and jewelry, can be tricky to buy. I don’t mean there aren’t enough to choose from, I mean the prices of ladies sandals and shoes are so different depending on WHEN you buy them. Did the sexy wedge shoes from Prada just come of a New York runway? Wait a season and they’ll be cheap as can be. And if you want some cozy wedge boots for fall or winter, buy them in the spring and you’ll pay half price.

Want wedge heels in gold or silver (and red), all strappy and sparkly for the holidays? If you buy them in March they’ll be half as much as the week before Christmas. So to have all the shoes you love and …mmm….need…you must make a list of when to buy what.



In spring and summer you should be looking for winter wedge boots and slinky sliver holiday footwear, and in fall and winter you should be collecting wedge sandals and sassy cork platform wedge shoes you’ll wear next summer. You needn’t be without a closetful of womens shoes, you just need to be a season behind.
